About the Employer

Janet Bardini received her Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University, New York and her Masters of Science in Acupuncture from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, New York. She is licensed in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, and is a Board Certified Diplomat in Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is certified in clean needle technique and CPR. Her studies of Oriental Medicine have taken her to China, where she studied in various hospitals and clinics in Beijing with practitioner and published author Dr. Wang Ju-Yi. Janet's local hospital experience includes an internship at St. John's Riverside Hospital in Yonkers. In 2001, she volunteered her services for the rescue workers of the World Trade Center in Manhattan during the 9/11 tragedy. In 2012, she was a volunteer for Acupuncturists Without Borders providing trauma relief for the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy in Connecticut. She is an active member of the Acupuncture Society of New York, a published author and a guest lecturer at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and The Swedish Institute.
