Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dynamic office assistant for our busy office in downtown San Mateo. Great job for TCM Student learn while working! Candidate should be organized, professional and team oriented. Medical Insurance Billing and/or Medical Office experience preferred, but not essential. Warm and personable disposition is a must. This position has potential to grow with increase of hours and pay. Ideal candidate is willing to be flexible and work within the 20-30 hours a week schedule initially. Job Description: -Help with daily office operations -- work closely to assist Office Manager -Greet and welcome patients, oversee customer service -Assist with smooth flow of appointments --escort patients to treatment rooms, clean rooms, maintain orderly environment - Record EOBs and create balance reports -Verify insurance eligibility and benefits -Post and collect payments and patient information - Discuss and arrange payments -Patient scheduling and confirmation calls
QualificationsComputer Skills (preferred but not required) : • Microsoft Office • QuickBooks • Outlook • Word • Excel • Use of a web browser • Office Ally Ideal candidate lives close to San Mateo, ideally on pennisula or neighboring city. Flexibility to expand hours is desired but not essential. Position available immediately.
Short DescriptionGood pay with regular scheduled reviews for growth potential. Schedule approx 20 to 30 hours a week. Usual shifts are Tuesday and Fridays evenings approx 3:30pm-7:30pm, Wednesdays 3:30-7:30 or 11am-7pm (flexible- depending on demand) Saturdays 930am-330pm
