About the EmployerMy name is Winnie. My friend Daryl and I are starting an exciting new company here in the San Francisco Bay Area which will have a significant Chinese Medicine component to it. The company is still in the earliest nascent stages, but both Daryl and I are dedicated in its mission and are eager to get this off the ground as soon as possible!
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a licensed (does not have to be in California) herbalist with deep understanding in both Eastern and Western medicine for a consultant and/or advisory board role as we set the foundation for our company. We anticipate that the initial bulk of work will be in the first 3 months, with up to 4 hours per week, and possibilities of longer term consultancy or board seat in the future. Since we are both located in San Francisco, most meetings would occur there but we can be flexible. You will be providing professional guidance and advice on product development. We are open to consultant/advisory fees, depending on experience and fit.
- Deep understanding of both Eastern and Western medicine and herbs (do not have to currently be practicing but preferable)
- Available 1-2 hours per week for the first couple months to meet physically in person, with an additional couple of hours of work at your convenience
- Passion for Chinese Medicine
Short DescriptionMy family has been involved in Chinese medicine for generations (and in fact, my great aunt opened one of San Francisco Chinatown's first Chinese herbal shops which is still open today) and while I am in the process of consulting with her, she is 98 and is slowly succumbing to dementia, so we would need a professional/licensed consultant or advisor with current experience. TCM healthcare conscious video Casting yourself in our short TCM healthcare video as a TCM Doctor, these video will be posted to all the social media channels the school own, such as facebook, and you will be credited for your involvement. 5.
