We are seeking a full-time Associate Director to help manage the Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) program at Five Branches University, Graduate School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Jose, California.The position requires a candidate with knowledge and experience in administration and education. Knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine or related medical fields, and fluent in both English & Mandarin.
You value professionalism, efficient and effective administration systems, excellent service to students and faculty, integrity, compassion, teamwork, and have a positive attitude. You have excellent people skills, computer skills, and communication and writing skills. You enjoy diversity in work, and have good references from your previous positions.
Hours and Remuneration
Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Salary: Remuneration is commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:
The Associate Director of the Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program, working with the President and Dean of the University and DAOM Director, has overall responsibility for the administration, quality and success of the DAOM program. With the Director, you will:
Manage the DAOM program and student assessment
Manage admissions/enrollment
Manage faculty and scheduling including clinic
Manage student services including registration, records, communications and publications
Assure accurate and up-to-date student records on the University’s Empower student information system
Oversee continuing education applications
Assure compliance with accreditation standards, and federal and state regulations
Manage marketing, web site and publications
Qualifications
Doctoral or Masters degree in education, administration, traditional Chinese medicine, or related fields
Enjoys working as part of a team
Experience in accreditation
Experience in administration
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent administrative skills
Good marketing skills
Enjoys working in a multi-cultural environment
Available weekends when Doctoral modules are being presented
