About the EmployerStephanie Mall, L.Ac, MAcOM, FABORM has a thriving practice in the specialty of reproductive medicine in Kansas City, with over 9 years of clinical experience. She currently sees 35-40 patients/week, all of whom are reproductive patients. She is looking to expand her practice to include another practitioner, one who might even eventually take over the practice as the sole owner if the fit is right.
Job DescriptionPosition: Associate position/Independent contractor with opportunity to transition into full owner of clinic Logistics: You will start off seeing patients Fridays and Saturdays. You will likely get 1-3 new referrals from Stephanie every month, but no amount is guaranteed, and you should be highly motivated to market for yourself as well. You will have access to three treatment rooms during this time. After about 6 months, you have the opportunity to expand your days and hours. Please do not ask for any days off during the first 6 months of starting, as this time is crucial for mentorship and practice building. This is a great opportunity for a new graduate, but you must be willing to commit a lot of extra time to both self-study and clinical practice. There is a lot to learn in the field of reproductive medicine, and you must be willing to learn from Stephanie as a mentor as well as from your patients. Other tasks: In exchange of mentorship, you are also required to help out with maintenance and other everyday tasks. This includes helping with filling herbal formulas, checking patients in/out, doing laundry, and cleaning. Pay: 40/60 split (you get 40%) on services during time as associate
QualificationsRequirements: -Licensed acupuncturist in the state of Missouri -Diplomat of Oriental Medicine from NCCAOM or equivalent -Maintain your own liability insurance, malpractice insurance, and business license -Strong Chinese herbal knowledge – comfortable creating individualized formulas with single granules. There will be no patents or Clinical Pearls used in the clinic. -Willing to take steps to become ABORM certified
