Job Description

The clinic currently has one acupuncturist and is looking to hire an awesome second acupuncturist. As a part-timer you will be paid hourly and should you come on full time you’ll be salaried with benefits. We believe in paying a livable wage and can discuss that further into the application process.

To start, the position will be 2-3 shifts per week with the requirement of at least one shift being on a Saturday or Sunday. Each shift is 5 hours long and acupuncturists usually see 6 patients per hour.

Qualifications

This position is perfect for an acupuncturist who:
-is certified or willing to become certified to work as an acupuncturist in Washington DC
-is self-motivated
-loves treating LOTS of people
-is comfortable treating anyone from any ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, creed, religion, age, or economic status
-has a background in or interested in gaining experience in a community acupuncture clinic
-is an advocate for holistic and integrative healthcare beyond acupuncture
-has experience in high stress environments and has learned healthy stress management techniques to prevent burn out
-is committed to self care (You can’t give what you haven’t got. This is something we will work together on as a team to support each other.
- is willing to pitch in with office work from time to time
-is organized and able to keep up to date with client charts
- has a flexible, go with the flow mentality
-is a creative problem solver
