About the Employer

Job Description

Full time position open for a California Licensed Acupuncturist. We are seeking an individual with the right disposition, skill set, and bedside manner to join our clinic, The Lotus Center, in the Central Valley of California. The clinic has been in operation for over 20 years and is in a beautiful, serene, quiet, healing environment staffed with a receptionist, who takes care of all billing and office paperwork.   The clinic offers a mid-century modern style work environment with exposed beams, floor-to-ceiling windows, an elegant gas fireplace, and many other attractive touches. Several of the rooms open up to a private green garden space with serene pagodas, fountains, and plants. The office is handicap-accessible, has an in-house bathroom, and plenty of free parking.   The Lotus Center is located in the center of California’s San Joaquin Valley, in the city of Fresno, which is equidistant between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Often called the “Gateway to the Sierras,” and within driving distance to three of the nation’s most amazing National Parks (Yosemite, Sequoia, and King’s Canyon), the Fresno metropolitan area contains more than a million people and is highly diverse. Fresno is truly California’s year-round playground, with about 300 days of sunshine per year. In a ranking that scored California cities in five categories that include school ratings, home values, home ownership costs, household income, and income growth, the Fresno/Clovis area was ranked the number one place to raise a young family in northern California.   Fresno is a lovely, undiscovered city in which to live. Attractive homes in nice neighborhoods are priced in the $200-400K range. The community boasts a vibrant arts, music, and poetry scene, some wonderful public schools, a tolerant and diverse population, and some charming neighborhoods near our clinic that one could call home.   Compensation is dependent on experience. In addition to base pay, there is opportunity for bonus compensation and to work more as your patient load grows. We will train you on our treatment style and methods, and there is also room for the right practitioner to utilize their own techniques.   Requirements: Current, unencumbered licensure to practice as a LAc issued by the California State Board of Acupuncture and malpractice insurance with coverage in the amounts of $1/3 million or greater.   The Lotus Center is an equal opportunity employer.   Interested candidates: please send resume and inquiries to info@lotuschinesemedicine.com
