Job Description

Winding River Medicine is hiring a Newly Licensed Acupuncturist or recent graduate waiting to take CALE, where the job would be contingent on passing the examination. Experienced practitioners may also apply.
We have quickly built a thriving practice and are interested in helping newly licensed practitioners learn how to successfully operate a business. We are committed to bringing our patients the highest quality care through Chinese Medicine, seeing a maximum of two patients per hour. Providing the best customer service is a valuable part of that experience. We make custom granule formulas for many of our patients and have a full pharmacy. After our successful first two years in business, in February we will be expanding into a newly renovated 2400 sq.ft. office featuring $200,000 in improvements. That suite contains 6 treatment rooms, two of which would be dedicated for your use.

We currently have 1 full-time and 1 part-time receptionist who would support you. Insurance billing is also handled separately. Everything you need to succeed will be provided.

Hours:

Our clinic is open Monday-Saturday, 11am to 7pm.

Prior to February, working days are Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

After February, you would have your own two rooms to work between Monday and Saturday. We require that you work at least 4 of those days.

Qualifications:

We are looking for an intelligent individual with high attention to detail and the ability to work with our team. You will be providing excellent service to patients of your own and are expected to uphold the business’s values, brand and standards. Customer service experience and strong organizational skills are essential.

Masters’ degree required. You will also be required to obtain a doctoral degree - either DACM or DAOM, if you do not already have one. This must be completed within 2.5 years of joining the practice.

Strong computer and tablet literacy required, as all our records are electronic.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation will be a combination of salary and commission, doctoral degree stipend, and weekly acupuncture treatments.
