About the Employer

I am an acupuncturist with 19 years of experience and a registered nurse. I am currently pursuing a certificate in Medical Qigong and I teach self-acupressure massage. I am NADA trained with five years of experience working with drug rehab programs in San Francisco. I recently became a member of Acupuncturists Without Borders (AWB) and took their training in Healing Community Trauma. I have helped set up an AWB clinic in Ukiah after the Mendocino fires last year and volunteered with the Red Cross to provide nursing services at the shelter in Chico after the Paradise fires. I will be going to Tijuana to work with AWB and the Refugee Health Alliance at the border in December 2019.

 

Job Description

My vision is to create a healing center that is accessible to people of all income levels and to provide community-based services in San Jose, CA. I like the People's Organization of Community Acupuncture model (https://www.pocacoop.com) and I am open to discussing other ideas.
