Cathay Acupuncture and Herbal Clinic is one of the few oldest acupuncture clinics in Kansas City Metropolitan areas. It was established in 2001 by Dr. Cathay Fung, who is a licensed acupuncturist and NCCAOM certified Chinese herbologist, originally trained in China.
Acupuncture is one of the primary therapeutic techniques in traditional Chinese medicine. Acupuncture is an over 2,500 years old ancient technique originated from China, with which a skilled acupuncture physician or practitioner inserts hair-thin needles into specific points on the body to prevent or treat illness.
