This class covers every stage of pregnancy and how acupuncture can support the health and well-being of the mother and unborn child. Pulse and palpation techniques are taught to confirm which specific acupuncture point prescriptions to use for each stage of pregnancy and postpartum care. Treatment options include acupuncture, essential oils, and magnets.
Upon completion of this course, practitioners will:
Understand how the meridian system supports each trimester, labor, and delivery, and postpartum.
Learn common pulse diagnosis patterns and palpation techniques to identify which meridian requires support at each treatment.
Gain knowledge of various treatment options for each trimester, labor, and delivery, and postpartum, including acupuncture point prescriptions, cupping techniques, essential oils, and magnets.
Acquire the skills to create acupuncture treatment plans for pregnancy and effectively communicate them to their clients.
