Tanja looks at each patient as an individual and no two patients are given the same treatment plan. She spends about one hour with each new patient getting a detailed history of health, diet, activities, life style, medications and any other pertinent information. Each subsequent visit she spends from 15 to 30 minutes gathering any new information. The acupuncture treatment lasts about 10 to 20 minutes on average. Chinese herbs are often prescribed along with the acupuncture treatment. She also does Oriental Massage when it is appropriate for a patient.
