Job Description


  • Staffing is based on business needs

  • Reviews physical findings and medical histories to make diagnoses

  • Administers therapeutic treatments of symptoms and disorders acquiescent to acupuncture procedures

  • Identifies correct anatomical and proportional point locations based on patients' anatomy and positions, contraindications, and precautions related to treatments

  • Inserts needles to provide acupuncture treatment

  • Evaluates treatment outcomes and recommends altered treatments as necessary to further improve health

  • Maintains detailed and complete records of health care plans and prognoses

  • Adheres to all standard quality, safety, environmental, and infection control policies and procedures

  • Prepares rooms for patient use, including changing sheets, pillows, and patient gowns

  • Washes cups with approved washing standards to ensure sterility and makes sure that the carts/rooms are fully stocked with medical supplies

Qualifications


  • Must be licensed

  • Communicates patient concerns to Lead Acupuncturist

  • Maintains professionalism and positivity during interactions with patients

  • Works effectively within a team environment

  • Adheres to HIPAA laws and regulations (participates in ongoing HIPAA training)

  • Must be able to speak Mandarin

Short Description

We are looking for a Licensed Acupuncturist to work in Cupertino. Pay rate ranges from $30-$45/hour depending on experience.
