About the Employer

Former massage therapist, reflexologist and herbalist seeking IHSS caregiver (easy application process and online training- no need for CNA license). I love music, laughter, art, and storytelling. I eat a very clean diet, am mentally sharp and am happy to mentor and support you on your healing path. I have a small toy poodle who is hypoallergenic so you must love dogs! Additionally I am a Christian and a Democrat.

I'm in a wheelchair but able to transfer myself, go to the bathroom on my own and take care of most personal care tasks. I will need help with bed baths, basic circulatory massage, putting on ankle braces and shoes.

Job Description

Seeking a positive and encouraging IHSS caregiver for Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays or Saturdays from 8/9am-1/2pm- your choice for 5 hours of work per shift beginning after Labor Day 2023.

Bed baths, light massage, light meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping, pushing in wheelchair, transportation to and from appointments and to some community events (it's a plus if you have a vehicle that I am able to get in and out of, however, we are also able to travel with Para cruise. If you do drive I reimburse for gas).

Starting at $17.50/hour- if you are excellent after two weeks of consistency I will increase wage.
