Job Description

Blue Ova is a leading women-owned integrative health center in San Francisco specializing in fertility, pregnancy, postnatal and menopausal care. We offer acupuncture, functional medicine and nutritional support, all delivered in a warm, collaborative environment. We operate a busy practice with five private treatment rooms and are fully supported by a stellar front office team.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a talented and compassionate Licensed Acupuncturist to join our thriving team on a part-time basis. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a mission-driven group practice focused on empowering women through every stage of their reproductive journey.

Who you are:
You are eager to join a team that values women’s health, wellness, and community. Candidate should have a passion and some experience in treating fertility, pregnancy, postnatal and menopause patients, and a desire to grow in this field. We are a group practice and you should value collaboration and constant learning. Blue Ova is a busy office and candidate should thrive working in a fast pace, yet calming, environment.

Necessary Skills:
-Professional, dedicated and hard working.
-Excellent client rapport.
-Brings both passion for women’s health and compassion in patient care.
-Experience with treating, or a passion to learn how to treat fertility, pregnant and postnatal clients.
-Client management. Able to treat 2 clients an hour, and with training able to treat 3 clients an hour
-EMR experience. Clear and efficient note taking skills.
-Needle technique. Ability to use gentle insertion technique.
-Flexible, coachable, and open to collaborative mentoring and ongoing training in our proprietary method.
-Can work collaboratively as a team, as our clients are shared.
-Able to communicate with clients about recommended nutritional supplements and prescribed Chinese herbal formulas.
-Looking for long-term commitment.
-Love being part of a team and excited by new ideas

Qualifications

-Required to be licensed and insured in California.
-Generous compensation offered.
-Available to work 2 set days per week, with shifts starting at 7:30am-2:30pm or 2pm-8pm (schedule will be set before).
-Availability to cover additional shifts
-Can work 5-7 hours per shifts.
-Able to start training with Clinical Director in early August 2025.
