About the Employer

Kara graduated from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA in 2001, with a Masters of Science degree in Acupuncture. She opened her first practice, Phoenix Acupuncture in Renton, WA in 2002. She and her family relocated to Billings, MT in 2004 where she has continued to steadily grow her practice. Currently Phoenix Wellness and Education Center specializes in pain relief, trauma, sports recovery and veteran's health.

Job Description

Seeking a licensed acupuncturist in the south-central part of Montana to join an existing practice. Eastern Montana is woefully underserved for acupuncture.
We are located in Billings, the largest city in Montana. This area draws people from multiple states: Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
There is a large veteran population in the area and a busy VA facility. We currently treat many veterans through the VA Care in the Community Program.

Qualifications

Professional Requirements:
• Licensed acupuncturist in the state of Montana (or the ability to be so quickly)
• Work a flexible schedule 20+ hours/week (some flexibility with times and days for clinic hours; can be a mom-friendly schedule)
• Maintain CEU’s and national certification.
• Carry professional liability coverage
• Do your own laundry and maintain a clean work environment

• Excellent communication, self-sufficient, and driven

Short Description

Job Type: Part time/Full time
• Salary/Pay – 100% of earnings
• Rent per room - $400 per month
• Desired start date – ASAP
Seeking practitioners to assume a percentage of the current caseload in addition to new patients. Choose your own hours and gain additional referrals.
