About the Employer

A well-established acupuncture clinic in Midtown Sacramento, seeking a part-time licensed acupuncturist to join a growing practice. This position is ideal for a recent graduate looking to build a long-term relationship within a supportive clinic environment. Our clinic specializes in orthopedic pain management, sports medicine, chronic pain, pre- and post-op care, etc. A smaller number of general cases are also present, and/or have internal medicine disorders to co-manage (anxiety/depression, digestive, women's health, etc) but the vast majority are for pain management and orthopedics. Approximately half the cases here are insurance based. I (the owner) treat about 60-65 patients per week at full time.

Job Description

The position starts with a part-time schedule, training in orthopedics provided as necessary, and can grow toward a full-time role as your patient base develops. Initial weeks act as a trial period to make sure it is an ideal match, so that everyone can succeed. New employees would not be expected to treat more patients than they can handle as initial training continues.

Recent graduates and licensees are encouraged to apply!

Qualifications

Ideal Candidates include (but are not limited to) the following:
-Genuine interest in orthopedics (training provided, although existing skills are a plus)
-Knowledge of anatomy and musculature (Acupuncture schools often only teach this at a minimum level)
-Training in massage or bodywork

Requirements;
-Active California Acupuncture License
-English Fluency

Short Description

Compensation:
This is a part-time employee position with the opportunity to grow to full-time.
Pay is based on a starting salary equivalent of $50,000/year full-time, prorated for part-time.
Weekly bonuses available as the number of patients per week reaches certain thresholds.
Increase from part to full time possible as patient base grows, raises available.
Mentorship and training in orthopedic and integrative techniques are provided.
Benefits available after a certain length of time and/or full time status.
