HI! My name is Cat (Moonrise). I am the owner of Pinon Community Acupuncture in Santa Fe, NM. I'm putting out feelers across state lines to see if i can give someone who's thought about moving out to Santa Fe a reason to do so.I am trying to hire an acupunk to work one or two community clinic shifts per week.

community acupuncture is a fast-paced model with the goal of making acupuncture affordable. if you are not super familiar with community style acupuncture, but are interested, i recommend checking out Working Class Acupuncture's website and resources.
Job Description
🌿~$30/hr with potential to earn more with experience🌿shifts range between 4.5 and 6 hours (including opening and closing tasks)
🌿so you would be working between 4.5 and 10.5 hours weekly, depending on your availability
🌿an average day sees about 11-14 people, but ranges between 6 on a super slow day to 25 on a super crazy day. this amounts to generally between 2 and 6 patients per hour, with 4 being about the average. we can slow things down for starters as well.
Your responsibilities:
🫚 be awesome, first of all
🫚 be awesome WHILE holding space for people and giving them fast but awesome treatments in a quiet group setting
🫚 be able to work quickly and calmly - i recommend you don't spend more than 8 or 9 minutes with each patient
🫚 learn the software we use to check people in and take payment, and keep good treatment notes in our EHR program
🫚 help keep the clinic clean and tidy
🫚 be able to talk about and prescribe herbal formulas
Qualifications
something to note: the state of new mexico requires all licensing candidates pass all four national exams, and then also sit for a state licensing exam.this is an awesome entry level opportunity. community acupuncture is how my career started, even though i had no experience and minimal understanding of community acupuncture, and i want to pay it forward.
