Dr. Heather Bird is a California and nationally licensed acupuncturist. Her specialty is pain management and increasing emotional well being. She earned her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Five Branches University. Her doctoral capstone explored the effect of acupuncture on EEG coherent Gamma brainwave activity as defined by frequency distribution in patients age 30-69 who report experiencing severe spinal discomfort. She received her Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine at ACTCM in San Francisco to practice acupuncture, massage and herbology.
