About the Employer

Chico Community Acupuncture is Chico’s first dedicated community acupuncture clinic.

Since 2010, we have offered effective and affordable care to Chico and the surrounding areas. Our licensed acupuncturists have completed at least four years of schooling, and maintain that license with continuing education.

In 2019, Chico Community Acupuncture became a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

We believe that natural medicine can be helpful and accessible to all. We know it’s a trend to offer high-end therapeutic spa like-treatments that cost a pretty-penny, but at the end of the day, alternative medicine was not meant to be only for those who could afford to spend the weekend getting pampered.

Truth is, natural medicine is not meant to be a luxury treatment. It’s meant to be integrated into your life’s rhythms and routines, like going to the gym, having a nap in the afternoon, or drinking tea in the evening.

Community acupuncture is for the person who wants to take control of how they feel and improve their physical and emotional well being, even if they don’t know exactly where to start.

It doesn’t matter what's going on in your life, or if you have a severe or mild condition. Whatever you are coming into the clinic for, acupuncture will help you to reset and restore the body, mind, and spirit. Most people report deeper sleep, better digestion, and less stress. It helps you enjoy your life more.

Chico Community Acupuncture is part of a national cooperative of community acupuncture clinics called People’s Organization of Community Acupuncture. As a member, Chico Community Acupuncture is committed to offering acupuncture in a group setting, providing accessible care, and utilizes a sustainable social business model. Although we are a non-profit, we are entirely funded by what you pay for your treatments. We are committed to the highest quality of care for our patients.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide affordable, accessible and easy-to-use healthcare for everyone in our community with acupuncture, herbal medicine, and other traditional medicines. We believe that acupuncture doesn’t have to be expensive to work. We want to be a valuable tool in people’s health toolkit to the degree that they get as much acupuncture as they want for whatever their goals are, as easily as possible.
