About the Employer

Healthy Dragon is an integrative holistic healing center, offering Acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage therapy, psychotherapy, body work and anthroposophical medicine.

You will work closely with Dr. Sally Sherriff, the owner of Healthy Dragon.

Job Description

Part-time position available at a warm and friendly holistic health center.

Hours: 10-12 hours/week, on Wednesdays and Thursdays -hours can vary slightly.

Here's what you'll do: (2 major areas to oversee)

Part A of job: Patients
-Greet patients
-Manage documents: Make copies, give out paperwork, file paperwork, keep records
-Answer phone calls and emails
-Schedule appointments and manage online scheduling system
-Get charts ready
-Take payments and basic bookkeeping
-Keep waiting room neat
-Organize everything
-Set up and take down treatment rooms for patients
-Prepare hot packs for patients
-Wash cups etc

Part B of job: Help to oversee the running of the center:
-Communicate with the practitioners who rent at the center: rental agreements, scheduling etc.
-Keep Records for clinic (income & expenses, schedules, renters, fees, malpractice etc)
-Communicate with Janitor
-Handle unexpected issues that come up at the Center
-Implement new procedures to increase efficiency
-Monitor and maintain inventory levels (toilet paper, tissues, lightbulbs etc)
-Manage Mail, Web presence, Rent payment
-Insure an enjoyable clinic environment, patient's and renter's happiness
-Odd jobs around the clinic, spot clean, change a lightbulb etc
-Manage apothecary

 

Qualifications

You're our ideal candidate because you have at least an Associates degree and 2 or more years of administrative experience.
You are:
Very organized, efficient and self driven
Capable of working with minimal supervision
Able to multitask, prioritize, and respond to immediate requests
Proficient with basic computer skills, wordpress etc.

Have a creative way of thinking about problems and how to solve them
Reliable and trustworthy and able to maintain high levels of confidentiality
Professional and motivated yet friendly and personable
A happy, healthy person who loves people of all ages
