Licensed Acupuncturist & Herbalist Position
In Inner Richmond, San Francisco.
Johnson’s Acupuncture has been helping patients in San Francisco for more than 30 years. We are a multi-practitioner clinic that specializes in sports medicine, internal medicine, and herbal medicine. We are looking to expand our team with practitioners who wish to excel in acupuncture and herbal skills and are dedicated to Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Our clinic offers the combined clinical experience of Dr. Johnson You, L.Ac., Ph.D. (consultant only) and Dr. Karen You, L.Ac., DAOM, second- and third-generation acupuncturists, and the unique knowledge from each of the practitioners on our team. The You family has a longstanding history in the acupuncture profession in California, having worked closely alongside Governor Jerry Brown to establish acupuncture as a legally recognized and regulated medical profession for the first time in state history in 1976.
We pride ourselves on warm and positive patient experiences, efficient and precise treatment methods, and strong clinical outcomes. One-on-one training and guidance will be provided to you by experienced practitioners during the on-boarding process. We also offer trained on-site medical assistants and medical receptionists, allowing you to focus more energy on high-quality patient care. This is a rare and unique opportunity to develop your clinical and herbal skills on the job in a well established and respected clinic.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Active California Acupuncture License
English fluency
Conversational Mandarin or Cantonese skills
Ability to work well in a team setting
Openness to improving acupuncture and herbal skills
Ability to quickly integrate new skills
Professional, respectful, and timely
Basic computer proficiency for medical documentation and other clinical related work
Hours: available to work 2 full days a week (Tuesdays and Saturdays, starting at 10 am).
COVID-19 vaccination required
Required qualifications:
Bilingual fluency (English/Chinese)
California state board licensed
Preferred qualifications:
Experience or training in sports medicine, internal medicine, herbal medicine
