Laura is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. She is board certified by the National Certification for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She earned a 4-year Master’s of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California, where she completed over 3,500 hours of training in both Eastern and Western medicine.
Her experience includes a prestigious 2 year postgraduate clinical apprenticeship under Dr. Holly Guzman, Doctor of Oriental Medicine. With advanced training in obstetrics and gynecology, Laura focuses on women’s health issues as well as family care, internal medicine, immunology, pediatric wellness, pain and stress management. Laura also has 13 years of experience as a birth doula. She treats the whole family.
