About the Employer

The Holistic Health Center has been practicing integrative medicine with a group of independent contractors that have been serving the local community for over 30 years. We are fortunate to have many stories of happy patients that we have been able to help with various medical conditions throughout this time. Hideshiro Minami, a 6th generation acupuncturist and director of our clinic, has helped to teach and mentor new acupuncturists by offering his clinics to support and establish their practices.

Job Description

He is currently looking for an acupuncture assistant that can help at the San Mateo office on Wednesdays from 9:15am - 2:00 pm at the rate of $16.00/hour, with the potential to add other days in the future.

Qualifications

Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following functions:

• Greeting patients in the lobby, escorting to treatment rooms

• Patient intake & charting/note-taking

• Removing needles from patients

• Performing tuina/shiatsu if trained while patients wait.

• Checking in occasionally with patient (not too hot/cold, etc.)
