Job Description:

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic apprentice to join our team. This
apprenticeship program will provide you with an entry point into an already
thriving 20-year practice. Dr. Paula V. Redhead is a licensed Doctor of
Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and has triple board certification in Oriental
Medicine, Acupuncture, and Herbal Medicine with over twenty years of
experience. The ideal candidate for this position must provide patients with
attentive, compassionate care. We are looking for a candidate that will be able to
handle a high-volume environment as the practice is expanding rapidly. There is
lots of potential for growth within the next year.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients’ needs and establish an effective treatment plan. Manage
    and coordinate these plans and adjust accordingly.

  • Provide acupuncture treatment pursuant to the New Jersey scope of practice
    under N.J.A.C 13:35-9 which includes but is not limited to: acupressure,
    cupping, gua sha scarping techniques, and therapeutic activities.

  • Learn the ins and outs of our practice

Qualifications


  • Candidates must have at least a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and
    Herbal Medicine/Oriental Medicine

  • Candidates must hold a NJ Acupuncture license (Open to having an apprentice on site to learn the ropes if in the process of obtaining a license)

  • New graduates are welcome

  • Ideal candidate must have flexible schedule

Job Type- Part-time
Salary- $35-40/hour
Schedule- Approximately 20 hours a week (Strong possibility of increased hours)
