Pulse Community Care is a natural medicine practice in downtown Silver Spring, MD that offers acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, naturopathic medicine, massage and energy healing. We have a diverse patient population, a wonderful team and an expanding practice.

Job Description

We are in search of licensed and board certified, Acupuncturists/Herbalists to work a mix of private and community shifts, full-time or part-time.

We are looking for detail oriented, team players that crave a fast-paced but supportive environment. There is room for growth!

Private shifts may see up to 13 people a day, Community shifts may see up to 26 people in a day. Please only apply if you can handle the pace! We do offer highly competitive compensation.

Qualifications


  • Be board certified by the NCCAOM

  • Have an active acupuncture license in the state of Maryland, or be willing to acquire one

  • Have an NPI, or be willing to acquire one

  • Be credentialed with BCBS and Cigna, or be willing to become credentialed

  • Have an MSOM degree or equivalent from an accredited school

  • Must utilize all modes of Chinese medicine to treat patients (acupuncture, moxibustion, granular Chinese herbs, gua sha, fire cupping and so on)

  • Always make the patients feel welcome, safe and understood

  • Have at least two years of experience as a practicing acupuncturist and herbalist, be comfortable treating 2 private patients an hour and 5 community patients an hour
