About the Employer

Six Branches Family Acupuncture offers a holistic, trauma-informed, and body-affirming approach to healthcare, with a particular focus on fertility, pregnancy and hormonal imbalances from menarche to menopause. While we treat a range of conditions, our mission is to offer safe, effective support for chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, and hormonal imbalances showing up as irregular, painful or heavy periods, infertility, perimenopausal symptoms and common conditions of pregnancy and postpartum.

We are located within Rosemont Wellness Center in Portland, Maine, alongside other independent health practices. We use an EHR system for documentation that is shared between providers, and have a welcoming administrative team who greet patients, take payments, schedule patients, compile herbal formulas and handle insurance billing. We are in-network with most major insurance carriers and about â…” of our patients use insurance benefits. We have a supportive team atmosphere and value the wellness of our team. We see 2 patients an hour but have spaces, breaks, and time for charting worked into our shifts to create a sustainable pace. Acupuncturists meet regularly (usually weekly) as a team to discuss difficult cases, current best practices, and professional development topics. We love our supportive team atmosphere and look forward to welcoming a new team member who is excited to work and grow in a collaborative setting.
