About the Employer

Family Tree Acupuncture is a full-service Chinese medicine clinic in the heart of historic downtown Daytona Beach. Our offerings include a mix of private treatments (Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri), community treatments (Wed), and a free auricular clinic for veterans (Thurs evenings). Our 2000+ square foot space includes three private treatment rooms, two large community rooms, a beautiful reception area, four office/charting nooks, and a full kitchen. We offer a full raw herbal pharmacy along with both powdered and patent formulas as well as a variety of supplements. We use electronic health records, an online scheduling system, an insurance billing service, and we have an exceptionally skilled Office Manager who helps us make it all happen. Our patient base is a mix of insurance, VA, and cash pay patients. We’ve established a solid presence in our community through word-of-mouth, radio interviews, workshops, our blog, and our social media presence.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:
* is NCCAOM certified (and/or CA board certified)
* can start off seeing patients 3 half-days/week with the possibility of adding more days/hours as demand grows
* is open to working on Saturdays in addition to an evening and a weekday
* has strong herbal training and is comfortable prescribing powdered/patent herbs & supplements
* has excellent communication skills
* has a strong work ethic
* is licensed and insured in FL (or is willing to become so)
* wants to live in or near a beautiful beach town
* is looking to practice what you love in a well-established, award-winning, ever-expanding Chinese medicine clinic
* is willing to volunteer their time for 2 hours once a month in our free veteran’s clinic
* believes in our mission
