Job Description

Qualifications

-Completed certification in area of expertise (i.e. herbal medicine, homeopathy, naturopathic medicine, nutrition, traditional Chinese medicine, etc.) or equivalent hands-on experience. Submission of certificate or other credentials will be required.

-Solid understanding of nutritional supplement and botanical medicine uses, dosage and contraindications, preparations and standards of measurement.

-Ability to collaborate with our traditional pharmacy.

-Confidence in speaking with customers while staying within DSHEA Guidelines.

-Experience operating a point of sale system.

-Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for some evenings and weekends.

Short Description

As a Practitioner, you are the face of Pharmaca’s mission and our commitment to the well-being of our patients. We rely on our Practitioners to share their knowledge and experience with our customers and to support them in making educated health and wellness purchases, prescribed to the clients’ individual needs. It is our Practitioners’ duty is to help every customer feel like their time in our store is the best part of their day, regardless of if they make a purchase. This position grants the opportunity to connect with your community and to build your own private practice. As everyone in the store operates as one team, our Practitioners also assist with merchandising, stocking and providing support as needed across all channels.
